1. What we collect (and what we never collect)

• Never collected: the URLs you fetch, the files you save, your browsing, or any content metadata. The Software processes everything locally.
• License validation: when the app activates, it sends a pseudonymous license key (randomly generated), a hashed machine identifier and the app version. We cannot reconstruct your media activity from this.
• Email address: only if you join the waitlist or contact support.
• Payments: handled entirely by our merchant of record (the payment provider named at checkout). We receive your email and license status, never card data.

2. Why (legal basis, GDPR Art. 6)

• License validation & fraud prevention — performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b));
• Waitlist & launch email — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link;
• Security & abuse prevention — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Retention

License records: for as long as the license remains valid, plus three years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Waitlist emails: until the launch announcement, plus 90 days — then deleted, unless you asked to receive further news.

4. Processors

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and network delivery (this site and its request logs).
• Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative (Kerala, India) — waitlist form handling. Submissions are processed on servers in the United States and forwarded to us by email; they are stored for up to 30 days and then deleted.
• Our merchant of record (the payment provider named at checkout) — payments, invoicing and tax. Applies once the product is on sale.
• Our email delivery provider — transactional email such as license keys and launch notices. Applies once the product is on sale.

Where required we put data-processing agreements in place with these providers. Because some of them operate outside the EU/EEA, personal data may be transferred internationally — in particular, waitlist submissions are processed and stored in the United States. Such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing. Email privacy@hoardwick.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

6. Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies. If we later add analytics, this section and a consent banner will be updated first.
