By downloading, installing or using Hoardwick ("the Software"), you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on machines you own or control, for the number of seats purchased. One license = one person. You may not sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the Software or your license key.
The Software lets you save locally a copy of videos from third-party platforms. You may use it only for content you own, content you are authorized to keep, or uses permitted by applicable law (e.g., statutory copyright exceptions in your jurisdiction) and by the source platform's terms where applicable.
You — not us — are responsible for ensuring your use of the Software is lawful. We do not monitor, store or have access to the URLs you fetch or the files you save.
The Software bundles and redistributes open-source components: an archiving engine licensed under The Unlicense, and FFmpeg media binaries licensed under the GNU GPL v3 or later. FFmpeg is invoked as a separate program and is not linked into our own code. Versions, license texts and the corresponding source-code offer are listed on our Third-Party Components & Licenses page. Nothing in this EULA restricts any right you hold under those licenses, including your right to obtain the source code of the GPL-licensed components.
Third-party platforms change their interfaces frequently. Engine updates are provided on a best-effort basis; we do not guarantee that any particular site or quality level will remain functional. Updates to the bundled engine are included for one (1) year from purchase.
Payments are processed by our merchant of record — the payment provider named at checkout — which acts as reseller and handles VAT/sales tax, invoicing and chargebacks. Your payment data never reaches us.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in this EULA limits liability where doing so is not permitted by law (including for consumers under mandatory local law).
This license terminates automatically if you breach it. We may revoke license keys obtained by fraud, chargeback abuse or resale.
This EULA is governed by the laws of the country in which the operator is established. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection rules give you stronger rights (for example the EU or the UK), those rules apply and nothing in this EULA overrides them. Where your purchase is concluded through our merchant of record, that company's own reseller terms additionally apply to the transaction.
